Sean Moran has over thirty years experience in the design, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of water treatment plants of all kinds, as well as evaluation of pollution incidents, including spills of  oil and oily wastewaters.

Sean has been designing, commissioning, testing, investigating problems with and offering advice on many different types of municipal and industrial sludge treatment plants over his long career. He is expert in sludge pumping, handling, blending, thickening and drying plant.

Sean has experience of  solid waste treatment in addition to sludge treatment, including novel drying techniques for industrial and mineral processing sludges, and recovery of valuable materials from fly ash.

Sean spent ten years working for the UK government's Envirowise and Biowise programmes as an expert advisor on waste minimisation, (aka waste minimization or resource efficiency). He advised hundreds of businesses on improving profits by reducing wastage of materials.
